Associate Manager Marketing Communications

What you will do:
- Assesses competitive insights and takes action to adjust communications
- Develops highly differentiated messaging
- Monitors competitors' communications efforts and shares this information with the team
- Adheres to organizational protocols, practices and procedures for using competitive information
- Understands the needs of primary and secondary customers and articulates a value proposition to them
- Can explain different product benefits to different customers in alignment with their needs
- Develops persuasive, benefit-driven messaging
- Understands the linkages between all components of the Big Picture framework
- Authors key strategy documents: strategic plan, annual marketing plan, product launch plans, etc.
- Translates the marketing plan to specific marketing communication activities to carry out the plan
- Creates key documents: marketing strategies, proposals and
- Understands difference between core competence, strategic asset and benefit
- Translates the core competence and strategic assets of the company to marketing communication strategies and tactics
- Correctly identifies opportunities to develop complementary value propositions for related products or portfolios
- Applies the core competencies of the product or portfolio to marketing communication strategies and tactics
- Applies the marketing framework to assist in the development and execution of the Commercialization Plan (product launches) and the Annual Marketing Plan
- Social Media channel ownership and content management including curating, planning, scheduling, posting and analyzing digital content via multiplatform environments
- Own Stryker.com content management
- Align with company-wide digital strategy and grow relationships with cross-divisional and cross-functional stakeholders
- Develop analytics processes and reporting to analyze performance, where applicable, and generate business insights
- Applies clinical knowledge in combination with technical knowledge to develop unique and enticing assets for sales team
- Ability to identify sales needs based on feedback and current landscape
- Ability to educate sales on marketing's role in the sales cycle
- Leads, develops, and executes communication strategies that drive the strategic plan for the product and/or portfolio
- Evaluates the costs and benefits of marketing channels
- Assists in the development of new marketing channels and tools
- Writes and edits publishing materials, scripts, or other communication media
- Follows standard style guidelines such as 'Associated Press'
- Leads with assistance the development of marketing copy or promotional text for specific types of publications
- Own marketing resource management system for ENT
- Ensure proper collateral creation and review
- Establishes metrics, goals/success criteria, and milestones
- Conducts post-launch analyses and implements lessons learned
- Establishes short-range and long-range improvement goals for own function, and develops action plans to achieve those goals
- Reports measurement results in actionable form to management
- Coordinate show messaging, graphics and internal/external communications
What you need:

• 6+ years of work experience required
