Spotify is a leading global music streaming platform that provides over half a billion users with access to an extensive library of songs, podcasts, and audio content. We are looking for a new team member to join our Marketing Science team in Germany. As an Associate Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing our advertising business through the development of measurement strategies, actionable insights, and scaled narratives for leading brands.
What You'll Do
Shape and execute the Marketing Science strategy for your market, aligning with local clients and vertical priorities
Drive top advertiser partnerships by using measurement and insights to impact revenue, including bespoke testing and strategy consultation
Create and deliver support plans that align with vertical and market initiatives, with a focus on impact and scale
Partner closely with Sales and Account Management to create scalable solutions tailored to specific client needs
Support multiple external client and agency engagements by presenting individual results and scaled projects
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and other cross-functional teams on key market initiatives including narratives and events
Stay ahead of industry trends and 3rd party partnerships to inform Spotify’s point of view on measurement solutions
Educate internal and external stakeholders on our capabilities and performance, and participate in feedback loops as the voice of the advertiser
Build and maintain analyses of advertising effectiveness to create benchmarks and best practices across key metrics and verticals
Maintain a strong POV on the validity of data sources to ensure all results and insights are consistent and methodologically sound

Who You Are
You have 5+ years of experience in digital advertising research at a media owner, brand, agency, or vendor
You have a track record of partnering with advertisers and using measurement and insights to drive incremental advertising revenue
You are fluent in German and English
You possess in-depth knowledge of campaign measurement, including brand lift, foot traffic, sales lift, conversion lift, MMM, and performance measurement
You have experience in data analysis and storytelling, going beyond the “what” to tell the “why”
You are experienced with 1st party datasets, dashboards, and 3rd party data sources
You can use SQL in a practical way to support analysis (helpful, not required)
You have experience managing and influencing leadership stakeholders internally and externally
You bring strong presentation skills and can lead meetings with key clients
You are a positive, approachable teammate who values transparency and building strong relationships
You are proactive and accountable, thrive in ambiguity, and drive projects forward independently
Where You'll Be
This role is based in Germany (Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf or Munich)
We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
We ask that you come in 1-2 times per week.
