What You’ll Do

Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. (DSA) is a world leader in Memory, Storage, System LSI, LED, and LCD technologies. This role is for an Associate Manager for Memory Sales at Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. You will be based in San Diego, California. You will be responsible for managing the sales activities supporting multiple customer businesses by using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation.

  • This is a Hybrid role, working onsite out of our San Diego offices at least 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.

Reports to: Manager, B2B Account Sales

  • Oversee key aspects of sales activity for multiple accounts, including but not limited to the development of engagement strategies, the creation and alignment of sales forecasts and revenue goals, securing supply availability, and timely resolution of issues as they occur.
  • Conduct face-to-face customer management meetings to provide support, address issues, communicate updates, and build strong relationships.
  • Coordinate sales activities with the support team in Korea to align engagement strategies, drive the resolution of business issues, and ensure optimal allocation of available supply to meet customer demands.
  • Collaborate with key decision makers at customer to secure design wins and qualification slots on new programs for DRAM and/or NAND-based products.
  • Negotiate quarterly business awards including pricing and supply support.
  • Support sales opportunities by providing product information, roadmap updates, product samples, and price quotations.
  • Maintain awareness of and communicate internally to Device Solutions America/Korea sales and marketing teams regarding major market trends, customer strategies and product roadmaps, and competitive activity at the customer.
  • Demonstrate ownership and understanding of the assigned account with proactive communication and active coordination with management and internal teams to resolve open issues.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors degree and no more than 5+ years of experience, or an MS/MBA and 3 years of experience preferred
  • Sales and/or technical experience in semiconductor industry or related technical field. DRAM/NAND sales experience preferred.
  • Travel to Korea for customer business reviews (1-3x per year)
  • MS Office proficiency

Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well

Base Pay Range
$82,096—$188,800 USD
