Job Summary:
As the Associate Manager of Inventory Control, you will play a vital role within Ruggable's Supply Planning team to ensure the stability and health of inventory levels across our network. Specifically, you will help us measure and track KPIs related to raw material inventory levels, monitor performance of our internal and external warehousing partners, manage the movement of inventory within our network, and oversee port-to-door delivery of inbound raw materials. This is an ideal role for an analytical problem solver with excellent organizational and communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor raw material inventory levels across the manufacturing network, communicating risks and implementing solutions with cross-functional stakeholders as needed
- Support monthly inventory reconciliation process, identifying and reporting discrepancies between physical counts and digital records
- Work with internal and external partners to manage intranetwork transfers of raw materials
- Oversee relationships with 3PL partners, conducting regular performance reviews and routine check-ins to ensure on-time and in-full compliance of deliveries and accurate inventory reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure plant and 3PL readiness for warehousing of new raw materials
- Manage relationships and own strategy and communication with domestic drayage partners
- Support our transition to a WMS-based environment later this year
- Identify/propose strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs throughout 3PL network
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or related field
- 3+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or related field
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced proficiency in data analysis within Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong presentation and verbal/written communication skills
Preferred:
- Proficiency/Experience in Python, SQL, Netsuite, or data visualization software
- 3+ years of experience in operations for consumer goods company
Compensation:
- $85,000 - $90,000 base salary per year
- An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
- Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
