Grow your career as an Associate Manager - PR & Communications within ALG Vacations, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role you will contribute to the promotion of ALG Vacations brands: Apple Vacations, Blue Sky Tours, Funjet Vacations, Travel Impressions and United Vacations. Main duties include creating informative content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities to share our company's brands, products, and services. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with solid writing, presentation, and organizational skills.

A successful Associate Manager - PR & Communications will:

• Draft Press Releases for promotional, trend and event pitches
• Track and monitor event and destination news as well as PR campaign results
• Works cross functionally on market research requests
• Maintain PR database for trade and consortia contacts
• Work cross-functionally across internal teams including social media, content, marketing and research to manage workflow and information flow
• Create/contribute to corporate and industry communications including presentations, newsletters, social media, website updates and others as assigned
• Assist with the planning and execution of events
• Assist in creating the annual media plan and media budget
• Support PR and Marketing in every aspect, both within the US and in destination

A successful Associate Manager - PR & Communications will have:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or relevant field.
• Min 1-2 years marketing and communications experience
• Social media channel knowledge - Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn
• Proficient in MS Office
• Social media knowledge required
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and present ideas to business leaders.
• Travel industry or corporate events experience desired.
• Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
• Competency in leveraging customer insight to creatively introduce forward thinking and dynamic approaches to PR
• Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled at self- and project management with an eye for detail and logistics
• Highly creative with ability to think outside of the box
• Domestic and International travel as requested (5-10%)
