PURPOSE STATEMENT

Media relations guru. Digital savvy. Creative thinker with a knack for story mining, media pitching and creating/amplifying newsworthy content. An exceptional writer and communicator with a client-service driven mindset. A collaborative team player who can implement effective public relations plans to protect, reinforce and enhance brand reputation. These are just some of the qualities we're looking for in our new associate manager, Public Relations at Rich's.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES• Execute strategic public relations activities to protect, reinforce and enhance Rich's brand reputation across communication channels.• Hunt for stories, develop newsworthy content, manage proactive media pitching and reactive media response and coordinate/facilitate interviews on behalf of Rich's subject matter experts.• Identify opportunities to create and share stories that align with Rich's corporate PR pillars, developing creative media pitches, strategic press releases, insightful bylines, infographics, thought leadership and other newsworthy content.• Partner with our internal marketing and communications teams to support key campaigns and initiatives, along with our external corporate PR agency, to manage day-to-day PR activities.• Build external visibility of Rich's leaders, developing and executing strategies to enhance industry credibility.• Provide PR support for corporate events, community engagements, trade shows, etc.• Support the strategic amplification of content, working with our Demand Creation and Global Marketing teams to engage our online communities.• Track and monitor media coverage, developing PR reports to merchandise results with key stakeholders and highlight the impact of PR initiatives, while also providing recommendations for continuous improvement.• Keep a finger on the pulse of an evolving media landscape, consistently bringing new PR ideas and strategic thinking to the team.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field• 5-7 years of dedicated, full-time experience in a public relations and/or media relations role; agency background required• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic business environment with a client service-driven mindset and deliver under pressure on tight deadlines• Outstanding writer, communicator and storyteller with strong interpersonal skills (AP style proficient)• Media relations specialist with proven track record of building relationships with journalists and generating positive media coverage; existing relationships with food industry media is a plus• Digitally-savvy: understands changing social landscape and knows how to amplify content across online channels• Strong attention to detail and project management skills• Proactive self-starter, adept at problem solving and proven ability to exercise sound judgement and tap gut instinct to make smart, effective decisions• Must be a collaborative team player, understanding individual success is driven and supported by team success

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$75,656.00 - $102,235.00
