ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:Â Â
The Knot Worldwide seeks a motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our marketing team as an Associate Manager, Sales Development Marketing. In this role, you’ll work with the Global Media Solutions team across our wedding and baby brands to build better solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn the creative development process and respond to incoming RFP’s, overseen by the Sales Development Managers and Associate Director of Sales Development
- Create integrated marketing programs that include custom content, digital media, events, product/ad tech innovation, social, research and/or print while working closely with the sales team
- Utilize storytelling and strong visuals to bring creative concepts to life within proactive proposals and RFP responses
- Oversee execution of sold programs into post-sale workflow; “Quarterback” process (liaise with Creative Solutions and Account Management internal departments at all levels) to ensure clear transmission of information to the project team
- Attend internal and external meetings; Monitor timelines and internal communication through weekly check-ins
- Attend client meetings/calls with sales team, serving as marketing quarterback and helping to pitch and present creative solutions
- Oversee key assigned categories (CPG, Liquor & Spirits, Health & Wellness, Stationery, Tech) and overflow
- Lead packaging for new-to-market ad products
- Support all trade marketing endeavors including premiums, gifting, webinars and more
- Facilitate & assist with Global Media Solutions team summits
- Oversee virtual and live event execution and coordinationÂ
SUCCESSFUL ASSOCIATE MANAGER, SALES DEVELOPMENT CANDIDATES HAVE:
- 2-3 years relevant experience in digital marketing, advertising or other related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a must)
- Clear & compelling creative/marketing writing and presentation skills
- Excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills—able to manage all assigned projects and meet deadlines
- Obsessed with everything digital…from Facebook and Instagram to iPhone apps and YouTube, Tik TokÂ
- Proactively suggest new marketing materials & programs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic knowledge of research metrics
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience producing client facing materials and proposals, specifically responding to RFP’s
- Strong references required
