The VideoAmp People Team is looking for an Associate Manager, Workplace Operations who will be responsible for cultivating the culture, engagement and productivity of employees throughout at our New York Headquarters. As an Associate Manager, you are passionate about all things tech and sales and have extensive knowledge and personal curiosity around the workplace experience space. You help bring the VideoAmp ethos by creating unique experiences that support in-person connection, holistic wellbeing and maintains an environment that brings to life our values. You are curious about all “next and best” workplace innovations that help people do their best work. You play an integral part of our People team where we all work collaboratively and cross-functionally to support the holistic employee experience. This role is required to be onsite daily and reports to our Sr. Director, Engagement & Experience and is based at VideoAmp HQ in the heart of New York City.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the engagement and culture experience for all NY-based employees by maintaining our HQ standards to ensure we are providing a clean, safe and welcoming environment for Vampers and visitors
    • Oversee day-to-day NYHQ office management to ensure we provide an optimal experience, including but not limited to:
      • Facilities Management  - vendor identification and oversight for on-site workplace management resources (security, laundry, plants, etc.), as well as shipping & receiving
      • Building Maintenance - build close working relationships with building management (landlord, superintendent, reception, etc.) to resolve and evolve the on-site environment
      • Wellness Programing - third party vendor management for on-going wellbeing programming (gyms, classes, etc.) as well as on-site nutrition program
    • Work with local department leaders and support various teams to effectively align culture-building activities (team gatherings, on-site training initiatives, etc.) and measure success through focus groups and regular polling
    • Partner on experiences and mechanisms to further communication and in-person collaboration/connection and recognition (job well done, work anniversaries, etc.) in NYHQ.
    • Ongoing analysis of the space including evaluation of on-site needs and management of office expansion projects
    • Manage our local philanthropy strategy and establish new ways to support the communities in which we operate through our Give Back program
    • Lead the NYHQ Culture Committee and partner with our Employee Advisory Group (DEI Council), Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and DEI committees to organize local events and activities that bring people together
  • Support our Chicago HUB location by ensuring Vampers have a consistent experience across all sites, partner with local liaison and setting ongoing expectations
  • Provide superior hospitality to leaders and employees to constantly raise the bar of employee programs and work environment
  • Ability to see around corners with an outgoing way of connecting with people to make clients, guests and employees feel instantly welcome
  • Collaborate with all business departments and teams at the company
  • Serve as a trusted member of the People team and ambassador of the organization to create a culture where people identify with our Values and truly feel they belong at VideoAmp
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in office management, leading a facilities environment, property management, hospitality or related field 
  • Knowledge of Google Suite is ideal but not required
  • Project management skills and toolsets
  • Proactive and direct communication, both written and in-person
  • Experience working with a Sales organization is ideal but not required
  • Passionate about challenging the workplace paradigm and creating unique experiences for our Vampers
  • An ability to make immediate space adjustments with an eye for cleanliness and attention to detail
  • Mindset and work ethic that says “no task is too big or too small”
