Our Associate Marketing and Events Manager will be an integral part of our team at WillowTree. To help retain our deep culture of collaboration both among ourselves and our clients, this role will maintain an in-office presence in a hybrid (Work From Near) capacity from our Charlottesville office. The OpportunityThe Associate Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in strategically supporting commercially-focused marketing initiatives. They will work cross-functionally across the organization to promote WillowTree’s unique positioning in the competitive landscape. Using their experience in marketing or events, they will support and expand the scope of the events program to drive new leads, nurture existing ones, and bring our reach to new industries.

Responsibilities- Handle preparations, logistics, day-of coordination, and regularly attend in-person and virtual events WillowTree is hosting, sponsoring, or attending
- Develop and expand the scope of the events program to drive new leads, nurture existing ones, and bring our reach to new industries
- Build and maintain a centralized bank of promotional materials available to team members to leverage at in-person events
- Analyze and evaluate event performance and suggest improvements for future events
- Manage the swag program including serving as a main point of contact for different teams within WillowTreeÂ
- Deliver a range of projects aligned to commercial marketing objectives
- 3+ years of experience in corporate marketing or event management
- Proven track record of planning a range of events for multiple audiences in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Understanding of general marketing campaign principles and toolsÂ
- A passionate and charismatic personality with the ability to rally others around a causeÂ
- Deep sense of accountability and the ability to own large projects from start to finish with an innate attention to detail
- Proven success juggling multiple projects in a high-growth and deadline-driven environment where priorities shift quickly
- Naturally curious problem solver with analytical tendencies to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible
- B2B marketing experience
- Experience managing trade show sponsorship
