What you'll do here:
Thorndike Press is looking for a creative, curious and self-starting Associate Marketing Manager to promote literacy and increase awareness of accessibility provided by the large print format. Working under the direction of the Manager of Marketing, this position will create and implement campaigns and initiatives to meet strategic goals and revenue targets for public libraries, K-12 schools, and wholesale partners.
This person will maintain the website and online catalog of large print titles. This will require a blend of technical savvy and initiative to lead execution of multiple projects across various platforms. The right candidate will be collaborative and apply customer and market insight and data to decision making. They will work closely with team members in the brand and marketing communications team to develop messaging and integrated marketing campaigns that drive positive results.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven marketing programs with the purpose of generating direct sales or marketing qualified leads for the sales team.
- Provide clear direction in the form of campaign and project briefs for the creation of all marketing materials.
- Extract and upload ecommerce data monthly, as well as update appropriate catalog listings and web pages.
- Implement advertising tactics with wholesale partners and build and manage Amazon advertising campaigns.
- Communicate internally with sales team to keep them informed of what's in market and the available tools to support customer engagement.
- Stay informed of marketing communication trends within social media, digital advertising, email, print, and more.
- Complete other duties as assigned to meet company goals.
Skills you will need here:
- BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a required field
- Minimum of 1-3 years of Marketing experience
- Shown understanding of B2B and/or B2C direct marketing customer lead generation programs
- Experience carrying out automated marketing campaigns
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with other team members, customers, sales, etc.
- High self-motivation with a focus on responsiveness
- Highly organized with attention to detail
