Associate Marketing Manager
Job Description
PURPOSE/SCOPE:
IPC Eagle, a part of Tennant Company, is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Marketing Manager to assist with the Sales Operations and Marketing department activities. We are looking for someone who has a strong focus on planning and executing projects to generate customer demand and leads. This role is highly collaborative and will require working with many departments to plan and execute responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic self-starter who has the desire to utilize their broad experience in Marketing to grow with the company.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operation stakeholders to develop and execute marketing strategies to aid in achieving business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to execute marketing tactics effectively
- Develop and use best practices to track, analyze, optimize, and report performance
- Brand Messaging & Communications
- Create brand positioning and market-oriented messaging with competitive differentiation. Work with sales and marketing leaders to align strategy, messaging, and execution.
- Create tools & resources to help sales and distributors effectively and efficiently communicate the brand values of IPC - who we are and what we do
- Create internal and external communication calendar, (ex: email, mail, social, etc.). Identify strategy, audience and messages. Work with Marketing Specialist to execute and track performance
- Identify and create new content and sales tools to support awareness and demand generation campaigns, including whitepapers, case studies, testimonials, webinars, etc.
- Work directly with Marketing Specialist to assist in creating content, tools and executing campaigns
- Work with industry publications and PR agency to execute earned and paid media placements
- Demand Generation
- Create and execute cohesive demand generation campaigns that can be implemented across multiple channels and will to drive leads and sales pipeline
- Partner with sales and other stakeholders to identify our target customers and distributors; creating demand generation campaigns to acquire new
- Create and execute Demand Generation activities to support product launches
- Create, manage, and implement marketing campaigns & tactics to drive objectives, including:
- Paid media & industry sponsorships
- Paid social media
- Email marketing
- SEO / SEM strategy
- Lead nurture & lead scoring
- Other demand generation tactics as identified
- Identify innovative marketing and advertising tactics to encourage business growth
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree required, major in marketing, business or communications preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in Marketing (preferred B2B Digital Marketing and Demand Generation)
- Proven success in developing and executing demand generation marketing strategies that deliver results
- Experience with digital marketing tools, including marketing automation, CRM, sales apps, etc.
- Strong cross-functional skills, able to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience in sales or significant collaboration with sales teams highly preferred
- Experience and ability to frequently provide clear and concise communication with executive leadership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

- Excellent problem-solving capabilities while effectively working in a dynamic environment

- Self-manage execution of activities against deadlines; proactive communication and effective time management skills
- Proven success in collaborating with multiple individuals/roles/departments to achieve results
- Creativity and ability to generate innovative ideas to spur interest in and excitement at events
- Responsive and quick to react to new and urgent requests
