Job Description

  • Manage, execute seasonal systems set-up for product lines
    • Manage PLM style master maintenance and audit for accuracy
    • Manage Initiation- PLM ZFRT/ZPPK to create/load selling styles
    • Audit product adoptions to ensure timely completion
    • Ensure processes and procedures are carried out in a timely manner based on published timeline
    • Full understanding of product categories classification, fabrications, etc. to allow for effective analysis of business by gender, product category, etc.
    • Working knowledge of apparel/textile fundamentals to aid in a variety of job-related duties
  • Develop/ own/drive department reporting
    • Data cleansing/coding -add seasonality to PLM system
  • Research/ resolve discrepancies as they relate to style data for all Champion categories
    • Resolve PLM discrepancies by managing IT ticket changes with Data Governance
    • Resolve PLM glitches and enhancements issues with PLM Team

The main purpose of this position is to be accountable for product and data management initiatives for the Licensed Sports Apparel Team. Incumbent will be the primary contact in the ownership and execution of industrializing product and seasonal program adoptions. Working independently and autonomously, the position is responsible for the execution of multiple projects surrounding the set-up of seasonal lines. This position is responsible for being the PLM expert on changes, enhancements and system updates based on business needs. This position is required and held accountable to interact with numerous cross-functional partners to identify and resolve issues as it relates to seasonal product status changes and style set-ups. In conjunction with other cross functional teams, this position has the ability to implement procedures to ensure future optimal work flow. In addition, this position provides analytical support which is essential in decision making for the Product Team and other cross functional areas.

This individual must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, demonstrate good judgment, make effective decisions and have the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and to adapt to changing priorities. Must possess energy, enthusiasm and a sense of passion, accountability and ownership for their work and the business overall. Overall impact of this position-- Prevention of delayed or incorrect product development and production. Impacts order management, inventory and on-time shipments to customers, as well as accurate reporting to senior management. Furthermore, the detrimental effect of the same not being done in a complete and accurate manner would also be significant.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education/ Experience:
    • 1-2 years of data management experience or in lieu of degree 4+ years of data management experience
  • Preferred Education/ Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree
