Job Description
The Marketing Program Manager works closely with the Marketing and Commercial Teams to provide support for marketing activities including promotional and communication programs, digital and event marketing projects including lead generation activities, marketing positioning and communications initiatives, events, and sponsorship programs. The role includes support of marketing communications for product promotion and product launches, web projects, traditional marketing programs, email campaigns, sales support, and basic creative design. In addition, product development support, competitive assessments, and channel strategies are key aspects of the role. Collaborate with dynamic team of innovative product portfolio and marketing experts to enable science for a safer world.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage tactical marketing activities to achieve the sales and profit goals for the product line. This includes value proposition, branding strategy, and channel strategy.Â
- Ensures and develops successful implementation of marketing programs for new product launches, including promotional materials, advertising, press releases, sales tools, and technical support materials.Â
- Support and create materials related to marketing projects including product launches, content offers, web updates, blogs, email campaigns, and other special projects.Â
- Provide support to the Sales team.Â
- Support lead generation campaigns and ensure leads are processed correctly into our marketing automation platform, HubSpot, and CRM, Salesforce.Â
- Work with vendors, e.g. outside advertising agencies, exhibit house, printers, etc., to ensure timely, cost effective execution.Â
- Employs formal and informal market research tools, including ongoing contacts with customers, business partners, sales team, vendors, etc., to identify and interpret changing customer attitudes, demands, and needs.Â
- Monitor competitive activity and maintain knowledge of current advances and technologies.Â
- Keeps up-to-date on regulations and accepts ownership on complying with regulatory requirements.Â
- Exhibit a passion for customers focused on enhancing relationships, exhibiting high standards of performance and teamwork.Â
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills
- Demonstrated success working with an adverting agency, development and implementation of marketing plans, market assessments, sales strategies, competitive analysis, product launches, and forecastingÂ
- Highly effective analytical, financial, problem solving, and judgment skillsÂ
- Must have strong verbal and written communications skills as well as effective presentation skillsÂ
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, work independently, be detail-oriented, extremely organized, and a problem solverÂ
- Highly organized and process driven individual able to multitask and coordinate many simultaneous projects
- Strong team player who communicates effectively and thinks creativelyÂ
- Work independently and within the team environmentÂ
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others with realistic goals, prioritized to meet business objectives.Â
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and direct activities of large multidisciplinary teamsÂ

Education and/or ExperienceÂ
- Bachelor’s Degree, Marketing, Business, English, or other related fieldÂ
- A minimum of 2-3 years related experience in marketing and in a regulated life sciences industryÂ
- Basic proficiency in the MS Office Suite and InDesign requiredÂ
- Experience with content management systems and marketing automation platforms, especially HubSpotÂ
- Experience with a CRM, preferably SalesforceÂ
- Experience working in partnership with outside marketing agencies
