About the role

As our Media Operations Associate Director, you will support the Client Finance/ Client Services teams to facilitate the timely clearing of our supplier invoices, maintain billing trackers, manage accruals, as well as perform other ad hoc media operations needs. You must possess strong financial analytical skills, time management skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and the aptitude to articulate objectives in a concise manner.

Some of the things we’d like you to do:

• Assist with client billing & Accounts Receivable by troubleshooting issues and discrepancies with Essence client teams and directly with client marketing finance.
• Create Product codes and production jobs.
• Track and manage client accruals.
• Assist Client Finance with Budget preparation.
• Participate in meetings relating to vendor billing and status of payment updates.
• Export and format various system reports and extrapolate relevant data.
• Work in client portal to help media teams with client PO management
• Collaborating with planning/activation teams regarding deadlines for reconciliation of vendor payables.
• Other ad hoc reports/ responsibilities as required.

A bit about yourself:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-7 year finance experience within a media agency preferred
• Understanding of core accounting (credits/debits, A/P, A/R)
• Strong analytical skills
• Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn
• Proven track record of teamwork
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Strong knowledge of Excel required
• Experience with Google workspace a plus
