The Job
As an Associate National Account Manager you will be responsible for Increasing sales of DEWALT and Porter-Cable sold through a National Sales Channel. Work directly with the Sales Director on building and executing a go to market strategy, merchandising, logistics and promotional planning to drive sales of SBD brands to customers through warehouse and drop ship programs. Develop strategic customer initiatives with the top 20 customers throughout the country. Increase sales, brand exposure and market penetration within the channel by developing annual advertising programs, implementing a biannual market strategy and utilizing all resources and promotional vehicles to leverage SBD branded products. Specifically, you'll:
- Develop and maintain business relationships with key decision makers to include direct and 2 tier distribution models
- Partner with Sales Leaders to help drive the needs of managing our business within a national sales channel
- Work directly with customers and the internal SBD team (sales, channel, brand, product, etc.) to help coordinate key initiatives, drive key business strategies, engage in Product Line Reviews and Promotional Planning needs, and provide key analysis and analytic based support to best help SBD expand and manage the businesses
- Establishing strong relationships with Key Decision Makers that will provide opportunities to grow sales and solidify SB&D's relationship with merchants, assortment planning, inventory, and marketing teams.
- Liaison between our National Account Team to help drive sales and execute key business initiatives.
The Person
You're a curious problem solver who has the ability to bring big ideas to life. You're creative and scrappy but can navigate a large organization with ease. You're agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we deliver top-notch customer experiences, always. You also have:
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- 3-5 years relevant experience in Sales and/or Marketing
- Self-motivated, high energy, persistent, and sense of urgency
- Demonstrated track record in meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of market (competitors, environment etc.)
- Experience in similar industry
