Associate National Account Manager, Amazon

We’re Looking For An: Associate National Account Manager, Amazon to be accountable for the planning and execution of self-built strategic plans for various Amazon business segments. This role manages relationships with key contacts and develops and maintains internal processes to ensure execution of plans. Additionally, this role is responsible for developing sales execution priorities of Pricing, Distribution, Promotion and Shelving in a virtual shelf/store.
Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage day to day operations of 5 existing brands to achieve gross sales targets, new item distribution goals, and all other brand/item targets, and assist in managing day to day operations of other existing brands as needed
- Responsible for ownership of day to day activities at assigned Amazon businesses. Develop comprehensive and aligned annual plans within Distribution, Pricing, Promotion and Virtual Shelving for Amazon business segments. Include recommendations for forecasted sales and spending by month and annual promotional calendar
- Build and execute strategies and tactics at customer level. Ensure planned programs are both effective, efficient, and deliver desired ROI
- Work with Director of eCommerce to identify process improvements and new initiatives and assist in implementation.
- Collaborate with all functional areas of Golden Hippo including Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, IT, Customer Marketing and Product Development
- Perform Analytics of Sales Data, Promotions, and general trends to develop strategy
- Responsible for the development and presentation of fact-based, analytical, and compelling sales presentations that provide ongoing education and category management insight
- Demonstrate industry, channel, and competitor knowledge and connect with customers to deliver fact-based information about products, nutrition, and trend
- Ability to travel approximately 5% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Expertise in developing brands and products on Amazon
- Drive execution by owning tasks from start to finish
- Skilled at building winning relationships externally and internally and approaching difficult conversations with honesty and courage.
- Shape and apply strategy by anticipating business needs and developing plans that deliver results
- Apply critical thinking to issues and opportunities and demonstrate creative problem-solving abilities
- Possesses a proven track record of achieving sales volume, spending, and profitability goals
- 3+ years’ experience building brands on Amazon
- 1+ Year of management experience
- 3+ Years of Sales Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods, preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field
$83,000 - $110,700, annual & monthly KPI bonus potential, depending upon experience
