About the Role:
The Associate Network Administrator (“ANA”) is the first line of support for Trace3 employees when they have problems or questions about information technology. The ANA will also be responsible for the diagnosis, resolution, and escalation of support tickets for general networking-related issues (route/switch) and end-user computing devices. Strong skills in problem-solving, customer service, and detailed documentation are vital to the success of the ANA role at Trace3.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for handling support requests, including but not limited to:
- Hardware configuration and deployment to end users
- VPN, Wireless, and other network connectivity issues
- Windows client support (Windows 10,11)
- WebEx Calling escalation management
- Apple OS X/macOS client support
- Microsoft Office for Windows and Mac (Active Directory and Office 365 support)
- Hardware support, including laptop and mobile devices
- Application management and support, including client, mobile, and cloud-based apps (i.e., Box)
- Utilize company ticketing system to track and respond to incoming email and phone service requests promptly
- Responsible for issuing and collecting client hardware, including laptops and other peripherals.
- Track inventory and support hardware repair and replacement with 3rd party vendors. Potential on-call support for after-hours related issues
Qualifications & Interests:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with help desk or network administrator duties in small to medium enterprises required
- Experience with the following technologies: Windows Ecosystem (Windows Client & Active Directory), Networking Basics: (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN), Client and mobile hardware (PC, Mac, iOS, Android),
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills, and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environment
- Ability to approach customer requests in a proactive and consultative manner; listen to and understand user requests and needs and effectively deliver
- Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong ability to operate independently
- Excellent oral, written communication, and customer service skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
