Position Description:

The overarching goal of the Associate, Payer Marketing, is to support the overall execution of brand value and access strategies for the Obesity product portfolio. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast paced environment, be focused on translating strategy to execution, demonstrate ability to prioritize key deliverables, and have strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop brand tactics and resources (ie account management resources), that support the brand value and access strategy with payers
  • Own project management process for development of new tactics in partnership with payer agency
  • Manage and oversee approval of tactics through the medical, legal, and regulatory review process
  • Manage brand payer budget and OPEX for tactic and resource development
  • Create and gain approval for branded communications to field teams (Account, Sales) through FCAP process
  • Develop personal and non-personal tactics to support brand demand realization priorities
  • Partner closely with LPS to develop brand customer support program and affordability resources for field teams
  • Manage rollout and training on new resources with account and sales teams
  • Support marketing plan development by providing input on payer solutions and tactics
  • Develop slide content and resources to support payer marketing initiatives at sales meetings
  • Serve as point of contact for sales force and account management for resource support and field questions
  • Lead special projects as necessary


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of PRA, finance, field, or marketing experience
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to apply all Compliance Policies and Procedures (CPP) and Good Promotional Practices (GPP) in unstructured and fluid situations
  • Understanding of laws and regulations covering providers and payers

  • 10-15% travel depending on business needs
