We're currently looking for an amazing Associate Operations Engineer to play a critical role in supporting clients and owning issues through to resolution. The ideal candidate is passionate about resolving technical issues and manages relationships with internal teams. You are technically savvy, have a can-do attitude, and know what it means to go above and beyond as an advocate for Grubhub!
The Impact You Will Make:

• Owns ongoing technical support for existing and new clients
• Department SME for our hardware and back-office configurations
• Ownership of the project & process; advocating for what you need to make it a success
• Owns the resolution of any item raised from the Support or CSM teams
• Responsible for diagnosing and raising bugs and new features to Eng
• Understand and take ownership of the key metrics for success for clients
• Uses tools, reports, and dashboards to investigate KPIs
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware and network configurations for external partners
• Maintain internal and external technical and operational documentation
• Contribute to company vision and direction by helping to establish best practices and driving strategic decisions as we grow
• Travel occasionally
• Occasional out of hours including evening and weekend support required to support clients

What You Bring To The Table

• 3+ years experience within a troubleshooting role
• 2+ years experience with JIRA or similar task tracking software
• 1+ years experience with writing SQL queries
• 1+ years experience working with networks/understanding networking concepts
• 1+ years experience working as a liaison between engineering and operational teams
• Proven ability to critically think through problems and provide timely solutions
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects with competing priorities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A team player with a can-do attitude, you're willing to help wherever needed
• Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced start-up environment environment
• Bonus: High-level knowledge of campus dining operations
