As a key player in the finance operations role at Smith+Nephew Finance, you will deliver effective and efficient Order to Cash processes and enforce the crafted control metrics outlined in the S+N Finance taxonomy.
 

What will you be doing?

• Contact customers via phone, email, and visits to collect outstanding debt and ensure adherence to payment terms, following up on overdue amounts.

• Coordinate customer queries with relevant departments for dispute resolution and manage customer administration needs to facilitate invoice payments.

• Allocate payments and reconcile accounts while managing a portfolio of low and medium complexity accounts.

• Contribute to accurate customer master data and follow assigned collections strategy, tracking contacts and customer responses in the system.

• Report current statistics, flag potential bad debt risks, refer unresolved issues to the Credit Manager, and monitor customers nearing credit limits, while proactively building customer relationships and ensuring compliance with collections policies and procedures.
   

What will you need to be successful?

• Fresh graduates with good interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply, with proven records of well-versed communication being an asset.

• Degree holders in any discipline, including fresh graduates, are welcome to apply, with fluency in English and proficiency in additional languages such as Malay, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean being beneficial.

• Intermediate-level Excel skills, proficiency in MS Office, excellence in negotiation, and attributes such as independence, self-motivation, resourcefulness, reliability, openness, and willingness to learn are desired competencies.
