Duties:
Discover, synthesize, and analyze information from a variety of internal and external sources, including tools, processes, documentation, and stakeholders. Solve complex problems with logical, digestible solutions that deliver key value to our stakeholders. Perform requirements analysis, story decomposition, system integration analysis, and data flow design. Perform analysis and querying of large sets of data with Postgres to validate data. Handle various forms of data like Master Data, Metadata and Source Data to provide data analytics using Postgres. Create metadata for source and consumption tables for data analysis using MS Visio, MS Excel and Postgres. Document requirement on Confluence and create readable user stories on Jira. Support development of user interface requirements and design by collaborating with UI/UX tools and teams. Work cross-functionally to analyze and define key stakeholder business needs. Support or develop test plans and test cases; participate in test results verification. Provide requirements and design support to scrum team. Assist in building cross-team collaboration and define acceptance criteria for integrated components. Identify scope gaps and missing requirements by acquiring an in depth understanding of current state (i.e., legacy system) and future state. Identify product team dependencies and plan for resolution. Act as a partner to both the business and the technology teams. Adhere to analysis best practices for epics and user stories. Assist in developing and maintaining policies, standards, guidelines and documentation to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the enterprise. Education & Experience Required:
Master's degree in CS, MIS, data science or related and two (2) years of experience as a business analyst, business data analyst, data analyst or related.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Perform analysis and querying of large sets of data with Postgres or PL/SQL to validate data; 2) Handle various forms of data like Master Data, Metadata and Source Data to provide data analytics using Oracle or Postgres; 3) Document requirement on Confluence and create readable user stories on Jira; 4) Create metadata for source and consumption tables for data analysis using MS Visio, MS Excel and Postgres or Oracle.
Salary:
$108,900 - $122,600
