Associate Principal Engineer - Full Stack Development

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who is technically proficient in Full Stack development. Candidate will work on creating new applications and enhancing existing applications. The candidate will be involved in working on cutting edge technologies and work on implementing and solving business problems with the latest suite of java-based tools and technologies. The potential candidate should develop high quality, world class software as the primary job function. Candidate should be able to deliver according to business requirements.
The candidate will be a part of Aristocrat’s online gaming platform/Games team and leading the team by example. Should take responsibility and ownership of the team’s outcome and achievements.
The candidate will play a key role in both design and implementation of new product features and improve performance and scalability.

What You'll Do

• Working on end to end object-oriented design and development of application/product
• Designing, coding, debugging and maintenance of Java/J2EE
• Ability to analyze and resolve technical query in project execution
• Working together with the team to keep them motivated and focused
• Good verbal and written communication skills and coordinating with the team members in a face to face as well as virtual environment
• Providing ideas for improvements and betterment of the product
• Works with Software Architects, Product Managers, product developers, subject matter experts and others to define tasks and assign modules to team.
• Do analysis and estimation of tasks assigned with minimum deviation. 
• Follow company and team guidelines while working on a problem or implementing feature.
• Take ownership of task assigned from analysis till the production ready state.
• Mentors and guide team members with interpersonal and technical skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned. 
• Ensure high coding standards are achieved on your team
• Contribute to the creation of new tooling and framework improvements
• Identify areas that can be improved to increase quality and efficiency 
• Ensure all features are documented to a high standard
• Work closely with product owners and producers to define new features, aligning technical solutions with business objectives

What We're Looking For

• 9-12 years of relevant hands-on experience in Java/J2EE and TS/JS/Angular development 
• Experience in web development
• Experience in Agile/Scrum is a must
• Strong knowledge of Core Java (Minimum Java 8)
• Minimum 5 years of working experience with development framework: Spring
• Minimum 5 years of working experience with RESTful Services
• Minimum 3 years of working experience of No-SQL database like MongoDB
• Minimum 2 years of working experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Minimum 2 years of working experience with Cloud: AWS/GCP
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Typescript/JavaScript/Angular
• Knowledge of any of the following Relational DB: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2
• Working experience with Maven and Jenkins
• Working experience with Git/GitHub
• Should have JUnit and functional testing knowledge
• Education – Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Knowledge about CI/CD 
• Experience in mobile development
• Knowledge of Hibernate framework
• Knowledge of shell scripting
