Duties:

Work directly with the software development team to build supporting infrastructure for specific new application functionality. Perform DevOps activities and use CICD pipeline software to deploy code. Assist with development and testing needed to maintain Disaster Recovery environment. Analyze and plan Linux application installation. Perform infrastructure support on Unix servers, managing Unix server in VMware and AWS environments. Plan, design and coordinate development installation, integration and operation of Unix systems while supporting RedHat Linux environment. Conduct network validation to ensure network security and system protocols are properly installed and prepare scripts for automating the environment. Write automation code using tools such as Ansible and Terraform. Maintain cloud-based infrastructure (predominantly on AWS) involving EC2, S3, RDS and VPC. Use configuration management tools (primarily Ansible and Terraform) to build and maintain a hybrid infrastructure hosted both at colocation facilities and in the public cloud. Run proof of concept projects on early stage infrastructure improvements to validate the feasibility of an approach, evaluate performance, and spike an implementation. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in CS or related and five (5) years of UNIX administration experience .

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Infrastructure support on Unix servers, managing Unix server in VMware and AWS environments; 2) Planning, designing and coordinating development installation, integration and operation of Unix systems while supporting RedHat Linux environment; and 3) Conduct network validation to ensure network security and system protocols are properly installed and prepare scripts for automating the environment.

Salary

$134,992- $139,000
