Duties:
As a member of the software integration team, is responsible for integrating and validating large cloud-based data systems that will serve as the backbone for promoting any releases into the production instances. Design, develop, and implement solutions for data requirements. Develop REST API services and applications using Java Spring Framework. Work closely with business and technology partners for a seamless flow of data, and thereby checking the integrity of various renaissance applications. Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines and participate in API-first design principle implementation. Handle large datasets and manage streaming data in public cloud and hybrid environments. Build large and complex data pipelines and integrate data coming from diverse sources in different formats. Build CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools like Jenkins and Harness. Use AWS S3 Java SDK for cloud object storage. Use a high speed distributed frameworks like Kafka Streams and Apache Flink. Participate in sprint planning, understanding priorities from product owner and proactively taking on and completing tasks. Support functional engineers for data needs during regression, integration, and systems testing on newly designed or modified applications/systems. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation's Employee Referral Program.*
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in CS or related plus five (5) years of software development experience. In lieu of Bachelor's degree plus five years of experience, will accept a Master's degree plus two years of experience in the same fields.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Developing REST API services and applications using Java Spring Framework; 2) Building CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools like Jenkins and Harness; 3) Using AWS S3 Java SDK for cloud object storage; 4) Using a high speed distributed frameworks like Kafka Streams and Apache Flink.
Salary
$134,992 - $141,400
