Duties:

Responsible for the overall Virtualization Environment design, support, and automation. Design solutions to support existing and future services and provide operational support for existing and future virtualization, computing, and VDI architectures. Design, deploy maintain and manage converged and hyperconverged infrastructure, including VXRail, private hybrid and public clouds. Architect, configure and support Cisco UCS systems and VMWare environment. Perform capacity planning with vROPS and disaster recovery with SRM. Develop baselines, evaluate, and remediate vulnerabilities and security findings. Meet with Business, IT and Security Leaders to develop requirements and communicate changes to the environment. Automate processes in the VMWare environment. Troubleshoot production problems like performance, and runtime issues within the virtualization environment. Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Provide Disaster Recovery testing support. Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in CS or IT and five (5) years of systems engineering or systems administration experience.

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Designing, deploying, maintaining and managing converged and hyperconverged infrastructure, including VXRail, private hybrid and public clouds; 2) Architecting, configuring and supporting Cisco UCS systems and VMWare environment; and 3) Performing capacity planning with vROPS and disaster recovery with SRM.

Salary

$121,100- $139,000
