Duties:
Manage the release process for introducing technology change into the production environment, ensuring adherence to change and release management policies and procedures. Work with release stakeholders to create an implementation plan. Identify and mitigate risks involved with software releases through careful analysis of scope, development progress and schedules. Lead software application Go-Live, execute the implementation plan, troubleshoot encountered technical issues and provide post release debrief. Manage the development of scripts and automation tools used to continuously improve the release process. Conduct release review/retrospection meetings to gather feedback and ensure improvements are incorporated for future releases. Manage project to migrate existing technical infrastructure onto GIT. Create, test and support new build/release processes, and serve as point of contact for both internal users and external vendors. Architect software build and release pipelines using Jenkins and Harness. Develop release management related scripts using Shell and Python to enhance application efficiency and reliability. Plan and execute application and infrastructure releases through developing scoping documentation, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, using Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence and ServiceNow. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, mathematics or related and five (5) years of release management experience.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Architecting software build and release pipelines using Jenkins and Harness; 2) Developing release management related scripts using Shell and Python to enhance application efficiency and reliability; and 3) Planning and executing application and infrastructure releases through developing scoping documentation, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, using Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence and ServiceNow.
Salary
$114,899.00 – $119,600.00
