Job Description

What You'll Do
This person has direct responsibility for the Production administration of all application scheduling, output distribution, report creation, DDS Profile Maintenance along with the testing of new file transmissions with exchanges and members. This position also has the responsibility of supporting Applications Development, Testing, Member Services, and Disaster Recovery. Scheduling is accomplished using UC4 software across Windows, UNIX and MVS platforms. The position supports scheduling changes consisting multiple jobs and dependencies. This resource utilizes a proprietary UC4 scripting language to automate the passing of variables for the execution of jobs and for the setup of test environments. Report creation and distribution administration requires support for Mobius. The administrator is responsible for adding new reports to the Mobius system, preparation of all batch load jobs and maintenance of batch transmissions of reports to end users using multiple transmission protocols

  • Strong knowledge of how to build and work with RESTful APIs

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Lead and guide the Production Control team during the architecture, design, and development phase of the Renaissance project and all other efforts.
  • Effectively Interacts with customers to understand their unique challenges and solve them with the collaboration of our team.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to the Production Control team members and clients.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.), or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 7+ years working knowledge as administrator of an open systems scheduling product with a min of 4 years of UC4 and UC4 Scripting
  • 7+ years working knowledge as administrator of an open systems output distribution system, with a min of 4 years of Mobius
  • 3-5 years of OS390 JCL and IBM utilities.
  • 4-5 years of experience in UNIX
  • 2 years of scripting language, perl, REXX or equivalent
  • Experience in the financial industry.
