Duties:
Provide operational support for the existing and future virtualization, computing and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) architectures. Design solutions to support existing and future services and enhance security posture. Architect, configure and support Cisco UCS systems. Establish optimized virtual environments for giant database cluster builds such as DB2 and Microsoft SQL on VMware platform. Automate processes in the VMWare environment. Troubleshoot production problems like performance and runtime issues within the virtualization environment. Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Develop baselines, evaluate, and remediate vulnerabilities and security findings. Meet with Business, IT and Security Leaders to develop requirements and communicate changes to the environment. Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application integration and testing tools. Provide Disaster Recovery testing support. Support UCS - VMWare, VXRail and VDI environments. Use vROPS, to analyze, automate and maintain architecture, and enhance performance and security. Architect, configure, and support Cisco UCS systems, including Dell IDRAC, HPE systems, Netapp and Nutanix HCI. Build a new datacenter, and architect and configure DR using Zerto and SRM. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation's Employee Referral Program.*
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering management or related and five (5) years of VMWare experience.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Using vROPS, to analyze, automate and maintain architecture, and enhance performance and security; 2) Architecting, configuring, and supporting Cisco UCS systems, including Dell IDRAC, HPE systems, Netapp and Nutanix HCI; and 3) Building a new datacenter, and architecting and configuring DR using Zerto and SRM.
Salary
$144,560 - $145,400
