PURPOSE STATEMENT
The Associate Product Innovation Manager will support the strategic objectives of the ecommerce division by collaborating on new product development and execution plans The Associate Manager will lead conversations and projects with various cross functional team to identify, drive and deliver key product development initiatives on-time and on budget to achieve annual growth plans.
This is a hybrid position and will require work from home office as well as at our world headquarters in Buffalo NY
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
Project Management: • Lead new product launches, innovations and renovations in partnership with internal stakeholders (e.g., Natural Work Teams and Speed To Market) by using project/process best practices:• Execute process deliverables for Work Team Requests, Triage and various Speed To Market steps.• Coordinate with R&D, packaging, technology teams, plants, suppliers, etc. for product cuttings and evaluations.• Develop solid understanding of Rich's manufacturing capabilities and warehousing network, across all categories. • Clearly communicate a detailed project plan to all NWT team members • Manage project budget and meet required deadlines. • Serve as the SME for the NWT teams by connecting category strategy with the current STM portfolio; provide project execution updates and recommend project portfolio corrective actions to ensure project portfolio (New Product Development/Product Maintenance Projects) is aligned with key metrics and category plans.
Financial Management• P&L analysis to evaluate new opportunities and manage risk.• Use financial data to draw conclusions and support sound business decisions
Market Insights• Understand and apply customer and consumer insights, the competitive landscape, and Rich's capabilities to facilitate and drive online growth.• Perform competitive analysis, market quantification and assessment.• Participate in discovery work to generate new products and platforms within appropriate target segments.• Translate customer and consumer needs into business opportunities. • Develop an in-depth understanding of consumers' attitudes, behaviors and opinions as they relate to our product categories online to help shape the division strategy.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field required; MBA strongly preferred.• Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing role; experience in the food industry is a plus but not required.• Experience working in ecommerce; preferred but not required.• Demonstrates financial skills to include P&L analysis.• Experience in the product development process and project management with experience leading cross-functional teams.• Experience with new product development principles and driving new products to market.• Solid verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills.• Demonstrates strategic thinking capabilities.• Uses the "think outside of the box" mentality- "If not, how can we?" • Demonstrates leadership, taking initiative and delivering results.• Demonstrates success in managing and directing change.• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Strong organizational skills - ability to anticipate issues and identify need for escalation.• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with project ambiguity, diverse personalities and team members - adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines. #CORP123 #LI-RT1
COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$77,035.00 - $104,224.00
