ABOUT THE POSITION
We're looking for a Global Merchandiser II to help manage a portion of the Men's Sportswear and Graphics Line Plan. This person will support product development from start to finish, including preparing briefs, managing waypoints and flagging product selections in our PDM system. This is a highly collaborative position that that requires the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships across various design and merchandising teams.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Supports the overall merchandising strategy from concept to go-to-market
- Assist with the seasonal strategy by benchmarking, brief writing, and category review preparation
- Complete research and analyze market trends, focusing on consumer behavior within a competitive landscape to aid in supporting seasonal strategies
- Develop experience building product and presenting concepts during meeting and waypoints
YOU ARE
- Detail-oriented with strong project management and presentation skills
- Skilled at working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Curious, creative, and driven to seek out solutions to complex problems
YOU HAVE
- 2+ years of experience within an apparel design, product creation or merchandising function.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Illustrator, InDesign, SAP (or similar scale ERP), and PDM (or similar scale PLM).
- Experience with Product Creation processes related to Design, Merchandising and Product Development.
- Bachelor's Degree in merchandising, design, business, marketing, sales or other relevant field.
