The Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions (EDDS) BU is responsible for the product management and design of American Express' proprietary digital platforms. As a team we are focused on driving engagement, satisfaction, and revenue through a combination of best-in-class user experience and compelling features and functionality.

As one of the enterprise teams within American Express, Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions (EDDS) works closely with colleagues across the Blue-Box to drive growth, margin expansion and marketplace differentiation to accelerate our digital strategy forward.

We're looking for a talented and passionate Associate Product Manager- Product Development to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience managing digital initiatives and will support the Product Owners in the ideation and development of mobile products and services. If you are interested in working on customer experience, mobile product development, and strategy, we'd love to hear from you.

Required
  • BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other similar background, with 3-6 years of work experience
  • Understanding of building relationships and working with others
  • Experience of delivering and making things happen
  • Be highly motivated and maintain a positive, "can-do" attitude in a fast paced environment
  • An ability to deal with a fast pace and changing needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Has enthusiasm and passion for extraordinary products and services. Employs story telling to articulate product vision.
  • Curious about the why and how
Preferred
  • Understanding of basic Agile principles and/or experience in Agile Product Development
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to drive backlog improvements
  • Familiarity with basic UX/UI principles
  • Experience in matrix organizations and cross-functional environments
  • Analytical attitude and experience making data driven decisions
Additional Considerations
  • Agile practices and experience with tools like(JIRA, Rally, Mural, Invision, etc.)
