What we need:
The Safety Services Associate Product Manager supports and executes comprehensive portfolio plans and integrated programs and develops and executes the strategic plan for all Visual Workplace Service offerings. Works in close cooperation with Marketing, Sales, and R D teams for the purpose of maximizing sales profitability under the supervision of the Senior Global Product Manager.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and implement a long term product Roadmap with a strong focus on New Product Development, Feature Development and Portfolio Strategy that manages the long term health of the portfolio. This includes full life cycle management of the portfolio and all services offered.
- Leads, plans and tracks all product life cycle phases, from inception through marketplace introduction.
- Gathers and analyzes customer insights via Voice of the Customer (VOC) and Market Research resulting in better meeting diverse customer needs and developing more accurate business cases.
- Work hand in hand with Sales and customers to develop Scope of Works and customer proposals; additionally lead the project scheduling and management functions for all won opportunities.
- Understand and support management of product category Profit Loss (P L).
- Gather knowledge about the competitive environment that drives action to Sales, Marketing and R D.
- Initiation and Coordination of the marketing/PR and business activities in close cooperation with Marketing Communication and Sales.
- Lead User / Focus Group meetings to better understand our existing customer points and what Feature Development initiatives that would drive better user adoption and expansion.
- Participate in developing product pricing and positioning strategies to maximize profit as needed.
- Drive initiatives to better capture and utilize data to drive decisions for additional Service offerings.
- Success is measured by organic growth, increasing gross margins, and a strong pipeline.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Engineering, Marketing or EH S)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Visual Workplace offerings related to pipe markers, floor markers, equipment labeling, and signage
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong sense of personal and professional accountability
- Experience with requirements gathering and prioritization
- Ability to interact with both internal stakeholders and external customers
- Analytical abilities to quantify opportunities from both an external market and internal P L viewpoint, as well as strategic positioning
- Up to 20% travel, international and domestic
Desired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Sufficient technical depth to fully understand product development tradeoffs and next best alternatives
- Experience in services relating to Visual Workplace installations
- Product Management experience related to Visual Workplace offerings related to pipe markers, floor markers, equipment labeling, and signage
Hiring Range - $92,100 - $105,000 Annually
