Associate Product Manager
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Product Manager is a key member of the product team and ensures our products remain competitive. The Associate Product Manager also plays a key role in the product education strategy and how it supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Associate Product Managers are responsible for:
- Collaborating with the product development team and assisting with bringing first-class products to market
- Assisting in developing efficient customer communication and feedback channels
- Gathering and analyzing product data, including web analytics, statistics, and consumer trends
- Assisting in determining improvements to product features
- Coordinating findings with the product team and aligning them with business goals
- Preparing project status reports
- Assisting in development of marketing strategies for enhanced product features
- Liaise with the Marketing department to ensure proper advertisement and positioning of new products
- Training internal departments on new product features and providing support to customers
- Creating product training content alongside product subject matter experts
- Working with stakeholders to develop and monitor new product support training curriculum and roadmaps for new products
- Working with Solutions Management to transfer product educational content into audience- appropriate content
- Provide consultative services, and act as a liaison with cross-functional work teams, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts to develop course specifications and gather course content
- Collaborate with field to identify sites for limited launches and pilots
- Monitor and report on users' reactions after launching
- Assist Product Managers with product lifecycle management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Four-year degree required in education, marketing, product management, business, engineering, or a healthcare related field
- Experience in the healthcare market strongly preferred
- Ability to maintain strong customer relations
- Experience in gathering and interpreting qualitative product data and consumer feedback
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently
- Proven experience working with multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
- High level of flexibility, creativity, and dependability
- Excellent English language skills are essential
- Proficient in core Microsoft Office Suite.
- Travel up to 50%.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Manage product roadmaps and portfolios
- Execute product education strategy
- Collaborate with organizational groups to get product education effectively to market
- Provide product education with insights on key differentiators and messages
- Assist with planning and carrying out new product launches
- Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market
- Gather feedback on effectiveness of products for continuous improvement
