Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Associate Product Manager to join our Digital Help-Learn-Community team! This role will be responsible for managing the ongoing growth and development of our community platform. This role will partner closely with multiple business stakeholders to deliver important customer-facing experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute a product area that solves business and customer problems and delivers delightful experiences to our customers
• Understanding Autodesk's corporate goals and objectives and aligning Community projects to them
• Outcome-oriented prioritization of projects and tasks around goals and customer value
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand business needs, reported issues, or feature requests to define product requirements
• Work closely with the cross-functional team leads including product, design, and engineering to manage execution and delivery
• Interpret customer requirements and write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and Jira tickets to ensure that your team can execute effectively
• Prioritize work for scrum teams, ensuring incremental delivery of business value over time
• Manage the product backlog, do scrum planning with team, and validate that all new features meet functional, performance, and experience requirements
• Analyze product data and analytics

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent and demonstrated practical experience
• Professional experience in software development
• Experience with software engineering workflows and processes, most specifically expertise in Agile software methodology
• Experience using project management tools and techniques including but not limited to story maps, burn-down charts and backlog management tools
• Experience analyzing customer needs and workflows and identifying gaps and solutions
• The ability to drive clear decisions and proactively communicate with all stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - interface with our customers as well as internal stakeholders, fellow product managers, product designers, technical writers, engineers, sales, customer success, product marketing, etc.
• Technical fluency; understanding and discussing architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs, and new opportunities with technical team members
• Being a self-starter with ability to take high-level direction and drive teams towards execution
• Excellent English

Preferred Qualifications

• Khoros / Community platform knowledge and experience
• Solid technical and competitive landscape knowledge
