About Your Role:
Join us as an Associate Product Manager, and step into an exciting growth opportunity to help evolve a world-class publishing platform for America's largest digital and print publisher. You’ll focus on initiatives that optimize collaboration among our 3000+ editorial users. This is your ground-floor opportunity to cultivate expertise in product management and drive innovation for over 40 brands reaching a vast audience of more than 200 million users monthly. You’ll report directly to the Associate Director of Product, CMS.
This role will oversee our Content Management System Enabling team, dedicated to executing timely and critical requests related to our CMS from various business units. In this role, you'll contribute to enhancing our publishing platform, initially focusing on the CMS domain and potentially extending support to the Workflow Enabling team in the future.
This role requires a candidate with an aptitude for product management. Primary responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to build new features for our publishing platform. Our ideal candidate has familiarity with technologies related to publishing, digital media and productivity software.
About Your Contributions:

Walk an engineer and a designer through product requirements

Drive grooming and planning sessions with your team, providing context and keeping projects flowing

Work with stakeholders to define project requirements, expectations and timelines

Conduct user testing studies and observe what’s working and what’s not

Teach an editorial team how to use a new feature

Coordinate with fellow product managers on the sequence of a cross-team project

Gather metrics and provide feedback loops to your team and stakeholders

Congratulate the scrum team on the release of an awesome new feature
About You:

Preference for 1-2 years of hands-on product management experience, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are valued.

You have a passion for figuring out user problems and pain points.

You possess an innate desire to collect, synthesize, and analyze data to inform your strategy.

Ability to manage and prioritize the needs of different stakeholders and technical leaders.

You excel at dreaming up ways to turn a moment of worry into calm and have an ability to explain it all to brainy designers, engineers, and writers—plus the people who care about numbers, aka “the business.”

You’re excellent at communicating and collaborating with a wide range of teams and stakeholders to build great products.

Proficiency in Agile principles and methodology is advantageous.
