We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead and mentor agile teams, ensuring the effective adoption of Scrum practices. In this role, you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with Product Owners, Engineering Teams, and Stakeholders to enhance team collaboration, drive delivery excellence, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Your focus will be on coaching teams, optimizing agile processes, and enabling high quality product delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and Guide Agile Practices: Educate and support teams in adopting Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring alignment with customer satisfaction and business goals.
• Ensure Clear & Complete Documentation: Oversee the creation and maintenance of development stories, acceptance criteria, and related documentation to facilitate development, testing, and user acceptance.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning & Estimation: Assist teams in effort estimation, collaborate with the Product Owner (PO) for clarifications, and ensure continuous backlog refinement.
• Manage Scrum Events: Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Release Planning.
• Impediment Removal: Identify and resolve roadblocks, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure smooth team operations.
• Facilitate Collaboration & Conflict Resolution: Enable effective communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution within teams.
• Shield the Team from Disruptions: Minimize external distractions to maintain team focus and productivity.
• Assess and Improve Agile Maturity: Evaluate Scrum maturity levels and provide coaching to teams and the organization for continuous improvement.
• Maintain Organization & Attention to Detail: Ensure structured execution of Scrum processes with a pragmatic and detail-oriented approach.

Requirements:

• Scrum Certification: Preferred certifications include CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or A-CSM.
• Experience: At least 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in IT projects, with a total of 10+ years in the IT industry.
• Team Leadership: Proven ability to manage and support three or more Scrum teams effectively.
• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in engineering with a solid academic track record.
• Communication & Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration, manage resistance, and handle feedback constructively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SQL Fundamentals: Basic understanding of SQL for data queries and analysis.
• SDLC & STLC Knowledge: Familiarity with Software Development and Testing Lifecycles to facilitate Agile processes.
• Azure DevOps Experience: Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (formerly TFS) for backlog management and tracking.
• Previous Technical Roles: Prior experience as a Business Analyst, Quality Analyst, or Software Developer is a plus.
