Associate Product Manager

As a Associate Product Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of our product roadmap strategy. Working directly with Product Managers, Engineers and Executive Leadership to oversee the creation of vital functionality for new and existing platforms, you'll help manage an agile process while learning the processes and requirements needed to become a Product Manager.

While this role is based in Swansea, Illinois - located just outside of St. Louis - we offer a flexible hybrid work model, where team members are invited to come into the office or work from home most days. The opportunity for full remote consideration is also available for the right candidate.

In this role you will:

• Maintain our product backlog and bug list
• Develop requirements and user stories
• Groom stories in preparation for engineering sprint kickoffs
• Attend daily scrums and communicate progress to the team
• Participate in product acceptance activities to ensure features meet expectations
• Manage and triage incoming requests from internal team members and external clients
• Be an advocate for the end users
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders about the status and developments of the product
• Develop in-depth understanding of the product(s)

Requirements

To win in this role you need:

• 1-3 years experience managing projects, preferably in the technology field and/or a product capacity
• Familiarity in working with or on an agile team
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Phenomenal organizational skills
• Clear and articulate verbal and written communication
• Conflict resolution and problem solving
• Critical thinking
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working across teams (i.e., Development, Design, Client Support, Sales, etc.)
• BA/BS is preferred
• Experience in a SaaS company or startup environment is preferred
