About the role: 

We are looking for an Associate Localization Product Manager to join the International Product team at Tubi. This team is responsible for enabling international growth and delivering a world-class streaming experience to our global audiences.

Reporting to the International Principal Product Manager, the Associate Localization Product Manager will be instrumental in managing the localization of Tubi’s apps and help center content. You will also plan initiatives to improve localization tools, workflows, and app localizability. Our ideal candidate is results-driven, an effective problem solver, and passionate about video streaming and the international user experience. The candidate is also familiar with quality assurance, cultural and linguistic nuances for at least one locale or a group of languages and can guide other linguists to achieve the right product fit for each market.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:
  • Manage Tubi’s localization and internationalization roadmap for our mobile, web and OTT apps, internal tools and capabilities
  • Oversee the localization and internationalization of product UI text and user assistance content
  • Build and maintain a terminology glossary for all of the supported languages
  • Work closely and maintain relationships with external freelancers and vendors
  • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Be the voice of Tubi’s international users
You will be successful here by:
  • Working with internal engineering, design and marketing teams to establish efficient workflows and continuously improve processes related to planning and delivering translations and multilingual content
  • Defining OKRs and metrics for translation quality and efficiency
  • Implementing ongoing quality assessment systems to ensure high-quality deliveries promptly
  • Having a keen eye for detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality
  • Partner with customer support teams to monitor feedback from Tubi’s international users via customer support tickets and app store reviews

We’re excited about you because:

  • You have 2+ years of software or web localization experience 
  • You have experience with localization automation tools (crowdin preferred)
  • You understand the software development lifecycle for mobile and web platforms, as well as i18n/l10n best practices
  • You’ve worked collaboratively with product management, marketing, and engineering organizations
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization
  • You are familiar with agile software development processes and agile project management tools like Jira, Shortcut or Rally
  • You have relationship-building skills and experience collaborating on project schedules and scope
  • You can work independently and as a team
  • You excel at problem-solving and collaborating across culturally diverse and globally distributed teams
  • You are comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment where ambiguity and short turnaround schedules are the norm
  • You are fluent in Spanish
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long term incentive plan, and various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
