Associate Product Manager
Job Description
For BioDot's commercialization organization, this role is responsible for supporting the marketing strategy and development of the dispensing technology portfolio products to yield profit and strategic performance consistent with company objectives. Will work closely with engineering (mechanical, software, and firmware), business development, sales, and application teams to ensure that portfolio of products is competitive in the market and continues BioDot's tradition of leading dispensing technologies for point of care and life science markets. The ideal candidate will embody passion, energy, creativity, and tenacity in accomplishing the objectives and responsibilities as listed below.
Responsibilities
- Support the presentation of product on BioDot's website to ensure accurate content and alignment with product strategy.
- Support product testing and specification development for the entire dispensing technology portfolio.
- Work with MarCom to ensure collateral (E-brochures, product literature, pamphlets, technical papers and presentations, and other marketing collateral) communicates key value propositions and offerings
- Designing and implementing social media strategies and promotions
- Work with MarCom to develop, collect, organize, and maintain internal sales content to enable and support global sales as they pursue prospects, leads, and contacts through their buyer journey
- Collaborate with the Market Management and Sales Operations leadership teams to develop Sales strategy and to ensure well-coordinated execution of activities in support of sales and product strategies
- Collaborate with MarCom to develop, maintain and execute marketing, promotional, advertising campaigns and initiatives for targeted customers and industries to help drive sales, product launches and brand awareness
- Brainstorming fresh product and promotion ideas with leadership with the execution skills necessary to make ideas a reality.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of emerging marketing trends and methods as they relate to the dispensing technology products and integrate these practices into plans to maximize effectiveness
Education and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, engineering/science or related field,
Experience:
- Proven 2 years of science business experience and previous product marketing / development experience.
- At least 2 years of technical experience with automation robotics and/or OEM components strongly desired. Prior sales experience will be considered.
- Creative self-starter with a bias for action and change, and who continuously challenges the status quo with novel ideas and solutions.
