Job Description

Reporting to the Product Manager, the Associate Product Manager will work with designers, engineers, and our CX team to build solutions that can be used across a broad range of enterprise-sized customers who use our digital ordering platform. If you excel in a culture of ownership and new ideas, this is the role for you!

You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or at Olo’s headquarters in NYC.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Contribute to ongoing definition, prioritization, and planning of the In-Store product roadmap, incorporating product innovations, marketplace needs, client feedback, and internal requests
  • Work with our Partnerships, Customer Success, and Sales Team to understand the problems, pain points, and opportunities that our existing clients and prospects face with third-party marketplace ordering
  • Consult on solutions for our clients and prospects, which includes Olo's existing products and features, in addition to investigating and scoping new feature requests
  • Conduct frequent client outreach projects to identify system innovations that would solve operational problems for restaurants
  • Coordinate with our POS partners to ensure we are able to support product enhancements
  • Perform feasibility research against partner integrations to validate how new features should interact with the InStore POS systems
  • Compose detailed documentation for released features
  • Demo completed work to internal and external stakeholders
  • Create data dashboards to help track metrics of completed features and identify opportunity areas
  • Troubleshoot integration pain points to identify opportunities for improvement

What We'll Expect From You

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across our entire organization, from the CEO to the Systems Architect to Customer Support to Sales
  • Seek to understand the Product Manager role for a software technology company that operates in an Agile process framework
  • Collaborate with fellow Product Managers and Engineering teams to build project plans and timelines and manage against those timelines to ensure that you ship the right products at the right time with the right quality
  • Proactive communication; you’re able to keep several stakeholders up-to-date on ongoing plans and future opportunities; you’ll find ways to explain complex scenarios/functionality in ways that non-technical people can understand
  • Willingness to get technical and dive into the weeds of our integration in order to find opportunities to optimize processes and workflows
  • Staying up-to-date on the restaurant tech market, knowing who the major players are, and able to articulate their unique value propositions
  • Curiosity and drive to understand the needs of several stakeholders, both internal and external
