The Membership Product team is responsible for handling all user data at Affirm, and plays an integral role in imagining new product opportunities for Affirm. Our team has been at the forefront of enabling zero-to-one product development, supporting international expansion and growth, and building platform efficiencies that have driven some of the largest margin contribution and revenue gains at Affirm.
We've already seen success from recent product launches that have helped Affirm expand our footprint in Canada, pilot a new Rewards program, improve our underwriting models, and much more. You'll be responsible for developing product strategy and partnering with other product managers to develop a corresponding roadmap to support growth initiatives within the Membership team. You'll dream up, build and launch new features alongside your respective teammates in Engineering, Design, Analytics, User Research and Business.
What you'll do
  • Build new products and experiences that will make it easy for consumers to use Affirm
  • Become an authority on our user data and the downstream teams that consume this data. You will partner closely with foundations, consumer and merchant teams across the company and play a key role in imagining new opportunities for Affirm
  • You will be intricately involved in an executive-sponsored special project with weekly updates that report into Max Levchin
  • Define new products and features with specs, wireframes, and product flows
  • Define key metrics for success and analyze the user impact of product features with airtight A/B tests
  • Collaborate across functions including engineering, design, operations, legal, compliance, and product to successfully launch and scale products

Affirm is proud to be a remote-first company ! The majority of our roles are remote and can be located anywhere in the U.S. and Canada (with the exception of the U.S. Territories, Quebec, Yukon, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories) unless the job indicates a different global location. We are currently building operations in Spain, Poland, and Australia. Employees in remote roles have the option of working remotely or from an Affirm office in their country of hire, and may occasionally travel to an Affirm office or elsewhere for required meetings or team-building events. Our offices in Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, San Francisco and Toronto will remain operational and accessible for anyone to use on a voluntary basis, subject to local COVID-19 guidelines.
All full-time jobs at Affirm (excluding interns and apprentices) are tied to a transparent grade-based pay range taking location into account.
