What You'll Be Doing

CIBC Asset Management is among the largest investment managers in Canada with over $200 billion in assets under management. CIBC Asset Management offers and supports a variety of investment products to meet the needs of investors in the Institutional, Mass, Mid and High Net Worth market segments. As the Associate, Product Marketing, you will assume a supporting role in the day-to-day marketing operations of CIBC’s investment products. You will primarily focus on developing and maintaining marketing materials, fund fact sheets, fund commentaries, performance reports, and other sales support tools. You will also help senior marketing staff with coordinating on product launches, product marketing campaigns and programs to grow and retain assets.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Development & Execution - Create, lead, and own the development and execution of product marketing collateral including, fact sheets, performance reports, sales tools in collaboration with product and sales teams. Develop an in-depth and ongoing knowledge of CIBC Asset Management product line-ups.

  • Marketing - Support marketing functions related to product and sales including product changes and sales communications. Manage and maintain product marketing collateral library with annual updates and governance approvals. Creation of social content supporting CIBC Asset Management products and services.

  • Relationship Building & Collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional digital teams to ensure marketing content is effectively published.

Who You Are

  • You demonstrate 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services investment industry and knowledge of the fundamentals of mutual funds, ETFs and the asset management industry. Knowledge of National Instrument 81-102 for marketing and sales communications is an asset. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course is preferred.

  • You understand that success is in the details. You notice things that others don't. Your attention to detail and project management keeps content accurate, on brand, and on time.

  • You're digitally savvy. You have a high proficiency in MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint). Experience with marketing automation software and Seismic an asset.  

  • You look beyond the moment. You make decisions and take actions that will make a difference today and tomorrow. You proactively seek new opportunities to define what's possible.
