Associate Program Finance Manager
Job Description
As an Associate Program Finance Manager, you will support monthly reviews of our financial data and integrated program management tool administration. You will lead the effort to deliver complete, timely and accurate program financial data in coordination with cross functional departments. You will also support the Program Finance leaders in fulfilling their responsibilities to ongoing cross department continuous improvement, problem solving, project implementation, training, and governance efforts.
Sierra Space, based in Louisville, Colorado with operations in Madison, Wisconsin and Durham, North Carolina, designs and manufactures advanced spacecraft, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government (including NASA), commercial customers and international organizations. Must Haves:• Bachelor's degree in a Business related field of study• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education• Familiarity with scheduling software (MS Project), Earned Value Management software (Deltek Cobra), and self service analytics (PowerBI)• Familiarity with Program Controls fundamentals inclusive of program risk management• An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required or has the ability to obtain one Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances
Preferred:• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks leading to on time delivery while meeting quality expectations• Adept at communicating with program personnel• Knowledge of DoD, government contracting and/or public auditing, policies, standards, and procedures• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)• Support the needs of employees through career development, mentorship, and training
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $88,499.72 - $121,687.12
Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
