Location/Division Specific Information

Thermo Fisher Scientific's Biological business growth has resulted in the availability of an Associate Program Manager position in Brisbane, supporting the Project Management team.

What you'll do:

• Provide support to the Program Management team and liaise with Program Managers and global colleagues to support effective execution of each project
• Manage improvement projects for project and program management systems. Perform administrative duties related to program execution, including supporting shipments and invoicing.
• Deliver continuous improvement projects centered around program management
• Use PM tools and systems to provide back office support for the primary PM
• Build and modify project management digital tools to improve project tracking and metrics

Keys to Success:

Education:

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in a Science related field is required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Minimum 2-3 years' industry work experience needed, preferably in Project Management within pharmaceutical or biotech and/or manufacturing.
• Must have a good understanding of GMP
• Excellent interpersonal skills - both written and verbal
• Experience partnering with team members to deliver and achieve specific project outcomes
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously with a continuous improvement approach
