Associate Project Engineer Scada

For our Business Unit Grid Automation based in Santa Palomba (Roma) we are looking for a Control System Engineer acting as a junior team member for project engineering tasks in system integration solutions - configuration of Scada and RTU, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Your responsibilities:

• Evaluate, select and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments;
• Ensure quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost. Improve effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions;
• Ensure that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements;

• A bachelor's degree, preferable in Electrical Engineering or Automation Control Engineering.

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in SAS/SCADA domain.

• Good knowledge of both Italian and English (B2/C1);

• Proactivity, team working and problem solving skills;

• Knowledge of substation automation systems, Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Gateways will be a key differentiator.

• Knowledge of SCADA application and protocols such as Modbus, IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850

• Good verbal and written communication skills are essential, proven ability to handle customer comments and approval responses to support project manager in project engineering is a must.

• Knowledge of Control and Protection relays and solutions for High and Medium voltage switchgears is desirable.

• Knowledge of ICT Security.

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Javascript.
