About the opportunity:
Grubhub Marketing is looking for a Creative Operations Associate Project Manager in Chicago. You'll be an integral part of the Brand Marketing, reporting to our Sr Manager, Creative Operations.
Grubhub works in a hybrid model while always keeping our employee's best interests in mind.
Team Overview:
The Creative Operations, Associate Project Manager, supports our Creative Operations, Studio, and Production teams. This role is an individual contributor and will support the team to manage and monitor the delivery of tasks and projects, ensuring that they are prioritized, resourced, meet the requirements and are delivered on time.
The Creative Ops Associate Project Manager will split their responsibilities between the management of projects and general admin tasks.
Responsibilities
  • Balance multiple low to medium-complexity projects at once
  • Facilitate weekly brief intake & studio status meetings
  • Management of tracking studio team utilization/availability each week
  • Communicate weekly resource assignments to broader Stakeholders and the Studio team
  • Facilitate onboarding of new project owners
  • Supports the flow of Studio projects from intake to final handoff
  • Applies strategic thinking as needed to ensure project success
  • Understanding of project steps, timeline, and change management
  • Able to manage and communicate changes in project scope, timeline, or resources
  • Collaborates with individuals across all disciplines and capabilities to ensure project success
  • Utilize Basecamp, Airtable, and other management software/tools to efficiently manage and share information on the status of the pipeline of projects (onboarding available)
  • Receives primary direction and follows it
  • Invoice submissions (vendor, freelance, etc.) and tracking
  • Accruals at the direction of leads
  • Shipping & logistics requests
  • Project manager production only requests with our agency partners

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a project management role
  • Experience leading project management on small projects
  • High-level understanding of the general project process (i.e. how to develop a timeline, steps in project workflow, etc)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently without direct oversight of work
  • Must be comfortable using a Macbook
  • Must be comfortable using Google suite and Basecamp (Asana and Airtable are a plus/bonus skill)
