ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER MIT

Your work as an Associate Project Manager in Montefiore's IT Department can improve patient care, enhance health outcomes, and ultimately save lives!

Montefiore's IT Department offers an exciting, fast-paced environment in which dedication and innovation are rewarded and where individuals can make a difference in the lives of patients. The Associate Project Manager may have the opportunity to work on business/financial systems, infrastructure, clinical systems, or transformation projects.

While this team works remotely some of the time, you must be prepared to work in our office as required. Montefiore requires employees to reside in NY, NJ, CT, or PA, and to be vaccinated including for COVID and flu.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop the project work plan, WBS and schedule using CA-Clarity or the designated tool.
• Convey customer objectives to product team to ensure support for ongoing needs.
• Manage assigned projects.
• Provide structured oversight of cross-functional project teams' activities.
• Work to control change, adjust the budget, timeline, and project scope to accommodate approved changes.
• Provide meaningful project progress reports including status, project schedule, resource and financial actual vs. budget.
• Produce timely, detailed summaries and high-level reports to provide necessary information to stakeholders.
• Ensure quality assurance and user acceptance before implementation.
• Review and finalize deliverables. Monitor quality control.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Resource Allocation Manager to ensure associates with required skills are available to support the implementation of new system solutions.

Requirements include:

• Experience managing all phases of multi-faceted IT projects including planning, cost management, resource management, communications, and quality measurement.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams/matrix management
• Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Must be well organized, detail oriented, highly analytical and possess strong problem-solving skills
• Must be able to enforce deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Project coordination or management experience including experience in implementation management
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Desired:

• Health care experience
• Demonstrated formal project management methodology experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in project management planning tools. Experience with CA Clarity preferred
• PMP or CAPM

Montefiore requires employees to reside in NY, NJ, CT, or PA. Relocation is not paid by Montefiore. This position is not fully remote. Montefiore requires employees to be vaccinated, including for COVID.
