Our Newest Opportunity:
At OneDigital the primary purpose of the Associate Project Manager role is to serve as a lead on projects with the oversight of a Project Manager or Director. They will focus on overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints that may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management to deliver business value. They will be the first person consulted of any issues or project hurdles, but will have support from PMs/Director on major decisions, conflict resolution, or change requests
Primary Responsibilities and Activities
- Associate project manager will lead projects with the assistance of Project Managers or the Director.
- Work with PM’s or Directors to develop and execute project work plans as well as provide guidance to staff as needed on large, complex and highly visible or unusual projects.
- Understand a project’s scope and create documents for project requirements
- Conduct project meetings to communicate individual roles, project expectations, and ensure that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively
- Monitor projects on a regular basis, evaluating progress and quality, and managing issue resolution process to ensure corrective actions are taken
- Maintain the quality of all project document/data to assure the integrity of a project
- Work with the project manager to report analyzed data and communicate results
- Optimize utilization of talents through specific development and mobility programs
- Manage the project estimating activities
- Adhere to standardized format guidelines
- Develop additional tools and refine processes to help all projects run effectively
- Work with resource managers to make sure we are utilizing proper resources based on capacity
- Coordinate schedule of activities related to the project
- Help to record achievements, expenses, and measures for success
- Monitor all project related logistics for proper facilitation of payments
- They identify project risks/issues and carry out studies to identify ways of reducing or solving issues.
- Custodian of project management tool(s) (Asana, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Create Project scope, charters, and roadmaps
- Work with Executive Stakeholder/Project Led to accurately scope the project
- Using Agile (or another PM) methodology to track project progress to completion
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers to achieve business objectives for the product, including technical and resourcing challenges.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification is a plus.
- Familiar with project management methodologies (for example, PMI, PRINCE2 and agile)
- Knowledge of project planning tools
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
Base Pay Range: $70,000-80,000
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
