Position Overview:
The Associate Sales Engineer (ASE) is a role designed to provide an introductory approach to working with large Enterprise cloud customers and prospects. The ASE will have exposure to working with Field Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Channel in various customer and partner interactions. ASE's will assist RAMs/Internal Sales teams with introductory calls, technical presentations, and demos of Trend Micro cloud solutions. ASEs will be required to fully understand Information Security architectures and quickly identify possible gaps or opportunities for bypassing traditional security technologies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Sales team to demonstrate and detail the value of Trend Micro Cloud solutions.
- Own the technical engagement with SMB and Enterprise Customers/Prospects during both the trial/POC and post-sales onboarding phase.
- Deliver detailed technical demos of Trend Cloud Solutions and integrations with key cloud services in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Proactively own technical relationships with customers and prospects while engaging internal Sales, Channel, and Partner Managers as needed.
- Maintain and expand working knowledge of current and new Trend Micro solutions while staying current with major cloud provider services such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Have the ability to solve complex cloud and security designs
Qualifications:
- Experience and understanding of Cloud architectures. AWS Certifications are preferred.
- Basic understanding of security incidents, network administration and management of security solutions including endpoint/server, web filtering, email filtering and IPS
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash
- Self-motivated and excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication (written and verbal) presentation, and problem-solving skills, both internally and externally
- Collaborative and client focused attitude and approach
