Associate Scientist

• Work with Scientists to conduct molecular biology experiments to profile immune disease drivers.

• Support assay development and assist in innovating current company platform.

• Undertake routine and complex sample processing using standard molecular biology techniques (eg. large scale cloning, qPCR, PCR based NGS library preparation).

• Communicate results at team and company-wide meetings.

• Generate and edit Standard Operating Procedures.

• Maintain clear and accurate records of experiments and analysis in electronic notebook.

• Contribute effectively to patents, meetings, reports, and scientific publications.

• General lab cleaning, organization, maintenance, and inventory upkeep.

Must have a Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, pharmacology, a related scientific discipline, or equivalent and 18 months experience at a biopharmaceutical or biotechnology company, including protein analysis, molecular biology techniques, and analyzing workflows.
